Cape May County 2015 Patriot's Day Ceremony

DSC_0527
Cape May County Freeholders joined organizations and individuals across the Nation in commemorating the 14th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.

Government leaders, First Responders and the public came together to reflect and remember the innocent lives lost, and families devastated by the heartless acts of terrorists.

At 8:46 a.m., the flags at County government buildings were lowered to half staff in honor of the victims of the terrorist attack in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.  The first plane hit Tower One at the World Trade Center at 8:46 a.m. on September 11, 2001, and changed the lives of our nation forever.
