Constitutional Officers

  1. County Clerk

    The County Clerk's Office assists residents in obtaining U.S. Passports for identification and foreign travel, administers oaths to Notaries Public and other officers, provides Vendor Licenses to veterans and exempt firefighters and records veterans military discharges.

  2. Sheriff's Office

    The Cape May County Sheriff's Office strives to constantly improve our services and dedication through teamwork and partnership with the community.

  3. Surrogate

    The County Surrogate is the Judge of the Surrogate’s Court which is responsible for the appointment of a guardian for a minor who comes into an estate, or the supervision of an adoption, or a sanity hearing, for example, it is increasingly common, after a death, to visit the Surrogate's Court for the appointment of someone to handle the estate of the deceased.
