Records Management

Records management is an essential part of governmental record keeping. County Records Manager Melissa Mistic works with the Information Technology (IT) Department to assist all county offices in protecting, controlling, and managing electronic and paper-based information assets in an efficient, cost effective manner and in compliance with state regulations and laws.

The Records Storage Center, located in the Courts Complex at 9 North Main Street in Cape May Court House, provides off-site storage for non-permanent and semi-active county government and Superior Court Records. All records are stored in a safe and secure atmosphere. Records remain in the Department's ownership and may be removed or viewed at any time by authorized personnel.
