Following a month-long public comment period, the Cape May County Bridge Commission at their January 20, 2022 meeting approved annual increases of fifty-cents over the next three years . The full 2022 schedule of rates can be found here:
2022 Toll Rate changes went into effect on March 15, 2022.
2023 Toll Rate changes went into effect on March 15, 2023.
This is the first toll adjustment in twelve years. Revenue from the increases will fund bridge and facility maintenance and improvements for the Commission bridges.
The Cape May County Bridge Commission owns and operates five bridges:
Middle Thorofare Bridge - between Cape May and Wildwood Crest
Grassy Sound Bridge - between North Wildwood and Stone Harbor
Townsends Inlet Bridge - between Sea Isle City and Avalon
Corsons Inlet Bridge - between Strathmere and Ocean City
Ocean City - Longport Bridge - between Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic County and Ocean City
