SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOUR MARRIAGE CEREMONY

Surrogate Judge E. Marie Hayes officiates small marriage ceremonies weekdays inside the Surrogate's Office. The marriage ceremony is a simple, but beautiful civil ceremony celebrating the couple's love and commitment to each other. The couple will need a valid New Jersey marriage license (apply with the municipal clerk) and two witnesses. 

To schedule a ceremony as described, e-mail the following information to the Surrogate Judge, surrogate@co.cape-may.nj.us:

• Names of both partners.
• Address where the couple is domiciled.
• Cell phone number(s)
• Where (New Jersey municipality) and date when the couple will apply for the marriage license.
• Requested week date for the ceremony.
