"Scarf It Up" Program at Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center April 28, 2014
Scarf It Up is sponsored by the GABLES Organization, a “gay group doing good things for the entire Community”. Scarf It Up has grown from 4 members, under the direction of Fran Georges, to over 30 members.

They gather 3 times a week to knit, crochet, and quilt hundreds of pieces for charities in the Southern Shore area. Scarf It Up has donated 500 pieces of knitted goods to many organizations such as CARA; Christ Child Society; the U.S. Coast Guard; The Vietnamese School for fatherless children in Vietnam; and Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
