Family Planning Services
The Family Planning Program provides low cost and high quality family planning and gynecological services to women, men and adolescents. There are no county restrictions.
Program Overview
- The Family Planning Program is a community health agency supported by federal funds and state funds at Cape May County Department of Health.
- The program offers low cost family planning services sliding scale fee schedule according to income. Family Planning is covered under Title X regulations that provides services to minors without parental consent.
- County residency is not required for services.
- Provides community outreach and education. Call 609-465-1194 for more information.

- Pelvic and Breast Exam
- Blood Pressure
- Blood Test for Anemia
- Counseling and provision of contraception methods oral contraception (birth control pills), condoms, Intrauterine Device (IUD), Depo-Provera, Nuva Ring, Emergency Contraception
- Educational sessions on reproductive health and birth control
- HIV testing, risk assessments and education
- Pap test
- Pregnancy testing and options counseling
- Referrals
- Routine gynecologic care,
- STD screening and treatment
- Urine test

- Blood Pressure
- Family Planning Methods
- Sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing and treatment
- Walk-in STD Clinic every Tuesday, except holidays, from 1:00-5:30 p.m.
- No appointment necessary
