Maintains the County's outdoor areas and provides a clean, comfortable, and functional environment for staff, and visitors. The group also handles:
  • Event setup

  • Rubbish pickup
  • Snow removal

Events

Setup of chairs, tables, and equipment for indoor or outdoor events is available on request.

Housekeeping

Offices are cleaned on a regular basis. Submit requests for upholstery or other special cleaning services, including floors and carpets. Facilities staff provides daily trash removal and recycling bins for offices and outdoor sites. Our recycling program targets:
  • Bottles
  • Computer monitors
  • Multiple paper types
  • Toner cartridges
  • And more

General Maintenance

General maintenance includes building and equipment repair and installation such as:
  • Ceiling tiles
  • Lighting
  • Outside contractor services (pest control, audio video)
  • Window blinds

Moving

Requests to arrange for office furniture moves within or between buildings. Any items removed for disposal or put on the County Auction.

Safety & Compliance

  • State and local fire inspections
  • ADA and OSHA compliance
  • All safety related services, inspections and maintenance:
    • Air quality
    • Extinguishers
    • Fire alarms
    • Signage
    • Sprinklers
