[ARCHIVED] Produce Voucher Program

Income-eligible Cape May County residents, age 60 years and older are encouraged to take advantage of the Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP), coordinated through the Cape May County Division of Aging and Disability Services.  The SFMNP provides an opportunity to purchase locally grown produce.  This year there are a few changes to the program.  The benefit will be $50 per eligible person, and instead of paper “checks” or vouchers, everyone will be issued an electronic QR code that is used at Farmers’ Markets onlynot in grocery stores. Similar to a gift card, the QR code will be printed when the application is processed.  Additionally, those with Smart cell phones can access the QR code from their phone.
