The Cape May County Library and the Cape May County Park & Zoo are hosting a family fun program this summer. Zoo-To-You! is a Summer Reading Event that offers a unique and unforgettable program. They use hands on and interactive methods with the goal of building a deeper understanding and appreciation for our natural world. The dates include Wednesday July 26 at 10 A.M. at the Cape May County Park and Zoo Bandstand, 2 P.M. at the Wildwood Crest Library, and Thursday July 27 at 10 A.M. at the Woodbine Library, along with 2 P.M. at the Upper Township Library.
The Cape May County Zoo meanwhile will continue its musical series on Saturday July 29 with the John Walter Community Band at the Cape May County Zoo Bandstand. The group is known for playing an exciting mix of marches, pop, Americana, and patriotic music that is sure to entertain audiences of all ages. Bring your chairs or blankets to sit on while enjoying the great music.
Details have been announced for the 47th annual Cape May County Senior Art Show. The artist “Meet & Greet” reception will be on August 23rd at the ACCC Cape May County Campus at 1 P.M. A small ceremony to recognize all the Art Show Participants will begin at 2 P.M. Artwork will be on display for public viewing from August 23 to September 1 at Atlantic Cape Community College Cape May Campus in Cape May Court House during the hours of 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. from Monday through Friday. The Cape May County Senior Art Show is open to any Cape May County resident aged 60 or older.
