[ARCHIVED] Cape May County 4-H Offers New Leader Orientation

The Cape May County 4-H Youth Development Program will be offering a New 4-H Club Leader Orientation on Friday, February 26, 2016. The training will take place from 4 to 5:30p.m. at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension office at 355 Court House-S. Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, New Jersey. Light refreshments will be provided.

4-H invites adults, 21 years and up, who wish to make a difference in the lives of local youth to attend to learn more. Linda Horner, Acting 4-H Agent said, “Volunteers are at the core of the Cape May County 4-H Youth Development Program, and critical to the success of its youth members.” Volunteer hours are completely flexible and up to the individual. “ Volunteers who give of their time and talents help youth build leadership skills, gain confidence and learn the value of helping others,” added Horner.

The 4-H Youth Development Program is part of the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station and Rutgers Cooperative Extension. 4-H educational programs are offered to all youth grades K – 13 on an age-appropriate basis, without regard to race, religion, color, natural origin, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
