The Rutgers Cooperative Extension’s Family and Community Health Sciences (FCHS) Department offers educational support group programs for grandparents who are raising their grandchildren throughout the year. The programs provide an opportunity to meet with other grandparents and caring professionals to discuss the emotional, legal and financial issues of this important topic. In addition to the monthly program sessions, FCHS also hosts “Coffee Fridays” which allow for a more relaxed, informal exchange of ideas.

The next Grandparents Raising Grandchildren program, Parenting Again, will take place on Thursday, April 28th from 5:30 to 7p.m. and “Coffee Fridays” will be on April 29th from 10:30 to 11:30a.m.
