Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Agriculture and Natural Resources Program held the first workshop in the 2017 Workshop Series, "Gardening by the Seasons” on January 26, 2017 at Rutgers Cooperative Extension.
Hydroponics Basics for the Home Gardener presented by Jen Sawyer, Rutgers Master Gardener Coordinator for Cape May County, taught participants the basics of small scale hydroponics, demonstrated the benefits of growing without soil, and showed them how to grow fresh greens and culinary herbs.
The next class in the series, Gardening: The Soil Makes the Difference, will take place on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Rutgers Cooperative Extension, 355 Courthouse – South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, NJ.
