Cape May Court House – The public is invited to come to the 3rd Annual Cape May County 4-H Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch, hosted by the Cape May County Board of Agriculture and the 4-H Livestock Program! The 4-H Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch takes place on Saturdays and Sundays, October 14-15, 21-22 and 28-29, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lehner’s Farm & Nursery, 175 Rt. 47 South (mile marker 9), Cape May Court House, New Jersey 08210.

The event is both family and wallet friendly. Activities include a 5-acre Scare-Free Maze, Hay Rides, Tiny Tykes Hay Maze, Pumpkin Patch, Pumpkin Decorating, and a Petting Zoo. Also, Jessi Anaya, Coordinator of the 4-H Corn Maze, and our many volunteers will be manning games and activities such as pumpkin bowling, make-and-take scarecrows, ring toss and game tables for checkers and tic-tac-toe.

Linda Horner, 4-H Youth Development Coordinator said, “The first two years were a huge success and this year promises to be even better!” “The corn is extra tall and strong this year, due to a rainy season, so the maze will not only be fun but a challenge as well,” added Horner.

Admission to the Corn Maze remains the same low price of $5 each or only $20 for families of 5 or more and children two years and under are free. Also, there will be free admission for all children 12 and under who come in costume on Oct. 28 and 29. There is an additional small fee for some activities.

The Cape May County 4-H Youth Development Program will be holding two 4-H Open Houses this year at Lehner’s Farm on Saturday, October 14th and the 21st during the 4-H Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch. The public is invited to come and learn more about the variety of 4-H Clubs in Cape May County.

Funds raised from the 3rd Annual Cape May County 4-H Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch benefit the 4-H Livestock educational programs and the Cape May County Board of Agriculture.
