Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Offers Wellness Workshop, “Say Goodbye to the Food Police and Hello to a Healthier You!”

Cape May Court House – Register now for the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Family and Community Health Sciences’ (FCHS) 2017 Wellness Series workshop, “Say Goodbye to the Food Police and Hello to a Healthier You!,” taking place on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. The workshop will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County, 355 Court House – South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, New Jersey.

The goal of the workshop is to encourage participants to create healthy relationships with food, mind, and body. “In this workshop, attendees will learn how to honor your hunger and respect fullness, how to pay attention to feelings without using food, and that healthy does not mean thin,” said Marilou Rochford, FCHS Educator.

The workshop will feature a healthy meal cooking demonstration and the meal prepared will be served to participants for dinner. The cost of the workshop is $15 and advanced registration is required.
