[ARCHIVED] Cape May County Sheriff’s Office Participates in No Shave November

The Cape May County Sheriff Office and their officers once again participated in “No Shave November” to raise money for cancer victims. This year eighty-seven officers participated in November, including 63 Correction Officers and 24 Sheriff Officers.

This fundraiser was to help support medical costs for Correction Officer Robert O’Donnell’s father who is currently battling colon and liver cancer. Collectively these officers raised $4,350.00 to offset medical costs.

“I am proud of all the officers who contributed to this cause. It especially hits home when it is the father of one of the officers,” said Sheriff Schaffer.

Anyone wishing to donate to this cause can contact Captain Chuck Magill at 465-1258.
