On Friday, April 27th, the Lighthouse Church in Cape May Court House hosted the 2nd Annual Cardboard Box City Fundraiser to raise awareness of child homelessness in Cape May County. Registrants raised money for donations, decorated their cardboard box "home" and spent a night out in the elements. There were also contests for best decorated box, best slogan and most money raised. The Cardboard Box City Fundraiser helps raise money for Family Promise programs that aid families in crisis.
