Cape May Court House, NJ –The Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Family and Community Health Sciences (FCHS) Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group will continue to host Coffee Fridays in 2019. Grandparents who are raising their grandchildren are invited to come on Fridays for coffee and conversation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension, 355 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, New Jersey 08210. New families are encouraged to come and learn more about the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group which has been helping families in Cape May County for twenty years.

Marilou Rochford, FCHS Educator, said, “Coffee Fridays are a way to provide grandparents with a chance to meet with others, who are in the same situation, in a relaxed atmosphere where they can share their experiences. Our grandparents are able to unwind over a cup of coffee while discussing issues and concerns related to raising their grandchildren.”

Grandparents are invited to come learn about some of the resources and support available to them and also share their thoughts and concerns. Additional Coffee Fridays are scheduled for February 22, March 22, May 17, September 20, October 18, and November 22, 2019.
