Three days of UAS flights began Tuesday at Cape May County Airport, with researchers studying ways to safely integrate UAS craft (often called "drones") into national airspace. They're also examining how UAS might help public missions like pipeline monitoring and methane detection. Visit on Wednesday or Thursday, accessing through Aviation Museum at the Airport.

Morey and others explained the science missions of the flights, and how they will contribute to integration of UAS in national airspace. Morey and his colleagues on Freeholder Board hope these developments result in significant economic development within the County, including job growth.
