Congratulations to Cape
May County’s Kelly Hunter, Pitchforks & Buckets 4-H Club, and Shea Mayer,
Lower Cape May Regional High School 4-H Club, who both received Excellent
Ribbons at 4-H State Public Presentations held on June 8, 2019 at the Cook/Douglass
Campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick.


Over 125 4-H members from
throughout the state take part in this event which offers qualified 4-H members
an advanced Public Speaking experience.
New to the contest this
year was a Virtual Presentation Division that allowed eligible members, unable
to attend public presentations, to participate by submitting a video
presentation. Six Cape May County 4-H members participated in the Virtual
Presentation Division, they are: Mina LaFrance, Andrew Heim, Elise Heim, Robbie
Elwell, Kathleen DeGenova, and Lauren Miller.

The 4-H Youth Development
program is part of the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station and Rutgers
