Rutgers Cooperative Ext. of Cape May County Offers Workshop Make Time for Healthy Snacking


Cape May Court House, NJ – Learn how to make time for healthy snacking at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County Family and Community Health Sciences (FCHS) wellness workshop on Monday, November 18, 2019. The program, part of the on-going Wellness Workshop Series offered by FCHS, will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Rutgers Cooperative Extension, 355 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House, New Jersey.


Chris Zellers, FCHS Educator for Cape May County, will present the wellness workshop, “Make Time for Healthy Snacking.” Participants will learn the benefits of snacking, snacks that support a well-balanced diet, and ideas to take home for healthy snacks. Zellers said, “Snacking can supplement your dietary needs and support a healthy lifestyle.


The Cost is $15 and includes a lite supper. Advanced registration is required by November 13th. Space is limited, so, please reserve your place early. Call Marian at (609) 465-5115, ext. 3609 or email marian.courtney@co.cape-may.nj.us for more information or to register for the program.
