[ARCHIVED] Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Hosts "Back To School Bash"

Rutgers Cooperative Extension’s Family and Community Health Sciences Department will host its annual “Back to School Bash" for the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group. The event, coordinated by Marilou Rochford, will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Building located at 355 Courthouse-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House. (Turn at the light at ACCC, it is the first building on the right). The building is handicap accessible.

This is the first event of the new school year for the Grandparents program and will include valuable information to prepare children for the school year. Grandparents need to understand the latest school policies and practices that may have changed considerably over the years. It's best to know in advance to prepare your grandchildren properly.

A light supper for the grandparents and grandchildren will be offered at 5:30PM, and the program will follow at 6:00PM. There is no charge for this program, but advanced registration is required. Please call Marian at (609) 465-5115, ext. “609” by August 7, 2015 to register, or for more information.

Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station Cooperative Extension educational programs are offered to all without regard to race, religion, color, age, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.

Support for this program is provided by the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the Cape May County Department of Aging, and Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Cape May County.
