Disasters strike all the time, unfortunately often the disaster strikes twice with unscrupulous contractors exploiting victims of disasters. Learn how to protect yourself and others from financial exploitation after a disaster.
Rutgers School of Social Work will be presenting the free workshop “When Disaster Threatens to Strike Twice”. These workshops are being presented state-wide as a result of a grant to the state Adult Protective Services Program.
This free workshop will be held at the Ocean City Senior Center 1735 Simpson Ave, Ocean City NJ on August 5, 2015 12:30PM to 2PM. Light refreshments will be served. The workshop is free, however space is limited. Please call (609) 399-0055 to reserve a spot.
This workshop is being offered locally as collaboration between the Cape May County Department of Aging and Disability Services, The Cape May County Office of Emergency Management, The Cape May County Department of Social Services (APS Provider), and the Cape May County Long Term Recovery Group.
